The Commission and its partners identified 100 individuals who were experiencing chronic homelessness in the Central Florida region and provided housing and coordinated case management services and treatment. We were able to exceed our expectations and provide housing for 250 chronically homeless individuals.
These individuals were chosen based on the number of years homeless and the overall cost to the community. The people in the program have diverse backgrounds, including business professionals, veterans and teachers.
These individuals have a 98% retention rate of staying in their homes. Each have been treated with a full range of services to include medical, mental health, social activities and more.
