Appointed in 2012, Mr. William “Bill” D’Aiuto serves as the Regional Managing Director for the Florida Department of Children and Families‘ Central Region. D’Aiuto began his career on the front line as a public assistance specialist for the agency. During his nearly 20-year tenure, D’Aiuto has held various positions within the Department, including ACCESS Director to the public assistance program for the Central Region, and Administrator for the 5th Judicial Circuit for DCF.
While serving as a Circuit Administrator, D’Aiuto participated in various committees as well as presented a number of child welfare special projects at the national level. Mr. D’Aiuto is a graduate of the 2006 Department of Children and Families Executive Leadership Program and played a large role in the modernization of public assistance. As a critical figure in the Haiti Repatriation Operations of 2009 for the Department, D’Aiuto assisted with the emergency re-entry of more than 12,000 Haitian-Americans to the United States.
Mr. D’Aiuto is a native Floridian, earning both his Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Central Florida.
