Rena Langley is senior vice president, Walt Disney World Communications and Public Affairs. She oversees public relations, government relations, external communications, internal communications, executive communications and corporate citizenship for the Walt Disney World Resort.
Rena has a deep breadth of experience in communications, most recently as the vice president of Public Affairs for Disney Cruise Line and New Vacation Operations, which includes Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa.
Rena began her Disney career in 1998 as manager of Public Affairs with the Walt Disney World Resort, leading work in support of issues management, emergency communications, community relations and environmental initiatives as part of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park opening team and has held several other positions with Disney over the years.
In the community, Rena serves on the boards of the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Orlando Museum of Art. Rena’s alma mater is the University of Florida. She lives in Windermere with her husband, Christian, and their two sons.
