Jeff Triplett

Jeff Triplett moved to Seminole County in 1992 after graduating from Missouri Southern State University. He has been a community banker for 20 + years, and is currently the Senior Vice President at United Legacy Bank. He is responsible for a multi-million dollar loan and deposit portfolio that consists of small business and commercial real estate holdings throughout Central Florida, with a primary focus on North Seminole County.

Prior to being elected Sanford Mayor in November 2010, Jeff served as Chairman of the Downtown Sanford Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). During his time on the CRA board, the agency’s accomplishments included: partnering with the University of Central Florida to bring a business incubator to downtown, completing a $4 million streetscape and roadway improvement plan on 1st Street, and creating a loan subsidy program that helps downtown building owners renovate their properties.

Jeff is also the former Chairman of the Seminole County Port Authority, the Sanford Chamber of Commerce and Vice-Chairman of the Sanford Airport Authority. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Sanford Rotary, Sanford Main Street, the Seminole County Small Business Advisory Board and the Sanford River Rats baseball team over the years.

Currently, Jeff represents the City of Sanford serving on the Board of Directors for MetroPlan Orlando, Seminole County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Seminole, Seminole County Tourism Development Council, and the Sanford Airport Authority. Mayor Jeff Triplett was elected to the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Mayors (FLM) in October 2017 for a term ending August 2019.

Jeff and his wife Brandi have been married since 1996. They have two sons, one who attends Sanford Middle School and one at Lake Mary High School.

Jeff Triplett was re-elected in November 2014 for a term that ends January 2019.
