Danny de Armas
Danny de Armas serves as the the Senior Associate Pastor at First Baptist Orlando. He grew up in Orlando and was raised in the ministry where he now serves. As Senior Associate Pastor, he is responsible for the implementation of the vision as provided by the Senior Pastor and lay leaders. Danny earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education at the University of Central Florida and his Master’s of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Danny serves on several local and national boards, including the North American Mission Board of the SBC and the Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA).
Danny and his wife, Betsy, have been married for 35 years and live in West Orlando. They have three grown sons: Caleb, married to Cali, who are the parents of two of their grandchildren, Shiloh and Belle, with the third due in May 2018; Seth, married to Catherine, and Asa married to Kinsey, who are the parents of their granddaughter, Susan Jane. In his spare time, Danny enjoys traveling with Betsy, hunting, golf and running marathons.
